1. Who we are

Mamakoo is operated by Chance & People Inc., a company registered in Delaware, USA (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, using mamakoo.com, or purchasing a guide, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to purchase and access our guides. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the activity on your account. You must provide accurate information, including a valid email address, and be at least 16 years old.

3. Purchases and access

• Guides are one-time purchases of time-limited access — typically 30 days or 1 year from the date of purchase. We don’t auto-renew or charge you again; when access ends you can buy the guide again.
• [Country] Collections grant access to every guide included in the Collection for the stated period.
• Gifts entitle the recipient (by email or redemption code) to the purchased access, starting when they claim it. Unclaimed gift codes expire 24 months after purchase.
• Prices are shown at checkout; taxes are calculated and collected where applicable.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

4. Personal use only

Guides are for your personal travel use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, or share guide content — including screenshots of full write-ups, downloadable itineraries, or account sharing that makes a guide available to someone who hasn’t purchased it. We may suspend accounts that abuse this.

5. Our content

All guide content, recommendations, branding, and imagery are owned by Chance & People Inc. or our licensors. Recommendations reflect the opinions of our contributors at the time of writing; restaurants, prices, and openings change, and we update guides year-round but can’t guarantee every detail is current on every day.

6. Disclaimers

Guides are provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee any particular result from following our recommendations, and we aren’t liable for your experience at any establishment, travel disruptions, or losses arising from your use of the guides. Nothing in these Terms limits liability we can’t limit under applicable law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account without cause while your access is active, we’ll refund the unused portion on request.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Mamakoo will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA.
