1. Who we are

This policy explains how Chance & People Inc., a company registered in Delaware, USA, and the company behind Mamakoo, handles your personal information. We are the data controller for this information.

2. What we collect

• Account information: your email address when you sign up or sign in.
• Purchase information: which guides you bought, the amount and date, your access period, and your payment provider’s transaction reference. We never see or store your full card details — payments are handled by our payment provider.
• Gift information: the recipient email or redemption code for gifts you send or receive.
• Location (only with permission): if you use the “Nearby” feature, we use your location only to show places around you. It isn’t stored or shared, and the app works without it.
• Usage data: basic technical logs (pages requested, errors) needed to run and improve the service.

3. How we use it

• To provide your purchased access and keep your account working.
• To send service emails: receipts, gift notifications, redemption links, and reminders before your access expires.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To understand which guides and features are useful, so we can improve them.

4. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that make Mamakoo work: our payment provider (processing payments, receipts, and taxes), our email delivery provider (service emails), and our hosting and database providers. These providers process data only on our behalf.

5. Retention

We keep your account and purchase records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion at any time (below); we’ll delete what we’re not required to keep by law.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we’ll respond within the timeframe required by law.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
