Jeju Island Food Guide

East of Jeju: Seongsan, Gujwa & Namwon

Because of the abundance of natural parks and cultural sites, the east end of Jeju is notoriously harder to navigate for those unfamiliar with the island. Not to worry, we’ve taken the liberty of mapping out a day filled with a sunrise hike, mountaintop wetlands and historic folk villages for those looking to get the most out of their eastern excursion. Between activities, indulge in soy marinated crab, knife cut noodle soup with a local twist, meaty deep fried rockfish and traditional yakju (Korean alcohol) that can only be made in Jeju.
